Teen nights in Norcross
Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in old town Norcross. We start at 45 South Cafe (45
South Peachtree Street, Norcross, GA 30071, http://45southcafe.com/), a
relaxing coffeehouse with live music. The kids can walk to two nearby parks
- the town green with beautiful fountains and another park with playground
equipment that even big kids like. You can also stop by the organic farmers
market that runs until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays. Parents get to visit while the
tweens/teens socialize and younger siblings are welcome.
This is a parent organized event and adults should plan to stay or make
arrangements with another parent to be responsible for their child. The only
exceptions are teens able to drive themselves alone to teen night. Everyone
is responsible for purchasing their own refreshments. 45 South serves
coffee, wine and desserts in the evening. There are several restaurants
close by for those who want to get dinner.
To receive weekly reminders about teen nights and other events as well as
classes, parents of middle and high schoolers can send join the

Register for the Upper East Side Theatre Company Spring Musical
Registration closes on December 4th for our youth theatre company's spring musical. The musical will be chosen based on the number of students enrolled and will be performed in late April.
Rehearsals will take place January- April on Tuesday mornings 9am-12 pm and Thursday afternoons 4-7 pm. Occasional Saturday rehearsals (about 1 per month) will be scheduled for set work. The rehearsal schedule will be planned around any conflicts you have at the time of auditions. Rehearsals will be at Providence Baptist Church; Cooper Road in Loganville, GA.
Upper East Side Theatre (formerly East 23rd Theatre Company) is a community youth theatre serving students grades 7-12 in the Northeast corner of metro Atlanta. In addition to rehearsing for productions in the fall and spring, our students learn about the business side of a theatre company. Students receive instruction in audition and acting technique, set design, lighting design, marketing, leadership, communication, graphic design, etc. Students serve on committees and have various responsibilities and homework assignments throughout the semester. Students receive over 100 hours of rehearsal and instruction each semester!
The cost of the spring musical is $100 per month December-March which includes your costume and a production T-shirt.
