Pitcher and catcher camps are for anyone who is already playing that position as well as anyone who is interested in playing that position. These camps are imperative since the coach will be using them as a developmental assessment for each one attending. This is an opportunity for him to see each boy one on one and assess his capabilities. If anyone still needs a registration form, just email me and I will get one to you.

After the camps, he will announce the tryout dates.

If anyone has any questions, contact Sandra Evans

Summer Ballet Classes and Private Ballet Classes.

This is from a ballet teacher in Lilburn who teaches private classes and is planning a summer camp with dance and Fine Arts:

My name is Mary Ann McCarthy and I have been teaching private ballet classes in my home in Lilburn for the last five years.  My students (ages 6-18) come from all over Atlanta and are very focused, very talented, and serious students who excel at many fine Ballet Schools.  They come for extra training and placement so that they may excel at their current ballet school and make more progress. In addition to working with trained dancers, I also work with students who have had very poor training or non at all.  Due to the demands of regular school, my schedule is pretty full in the evenings, but I have many openings for this summer and I teach all day!  One of my students,  age 15,  was just accepted into the American Repertory Ballet at Princeton this summer and received a  scholarship!!   Just a year ago this student was not advancing in her ballet school as she wished.  With determination, support from her parents, and consistency, her dream is being
fulfilled.  This summer, in addition to teaching private ballet classes, I will be holding in my home a Fine Arts program that will include a week of exposure to ballet, a guest art teacher, and a drama coach.  I can only accept 5 students a week due to space, but I plan to do four separate sessions.  My background includes a BA Degree in Classical Ballet from Birmingham Southern College, former dancer of the Atlanta Ballet and an MED Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Ga. State University. I planned and implemented a Fine Arts Program for Gwinnett Ballet Theater, have been a Master Teacher for St. Pius X High School, and was on the faculty for the Birmingham Civic Ballet.
