Dear 2009 Graduates,
EAGLES Home Educators will again be hosting a highschool homeschool graduation, May 16th, at Bethlehem First UMC. (close to 316, downtown Bethlehem) There will be an informational meeting on Sunday, February 8th at 3 pm at Bethlehem First United Methodist Church. We will discuss buying cap and gowns, where to order invitations and diplomas and what to expect at the ceremony. We do have a reception that follows in which all graduates are encouraged to bring pictures and accomplishments to display on tables. The cost of cap and gown is $40 and the ceremony fee will be no more than $50. All parents work together to plan this. Parents volunteer to print the programs, produce a slide show and help with decorations, set up - clean up etc.
In the past there have been many Barons and Force participants in particular that have graduated with us; non-members are welcome to participate. We have to know that you are interested, ASAP, and you really need to be at this meeting if at all possible. Graduating students as well as parents are invited as this is your graduation to plan. We will do additional planning and conversations after this planning meeting via an graduates only email loop to avoid additional travel as much as possible.
