Registration for the Georgia Force Football and Cheerleading program is Saturday, January 29th from 10am-1pm at the pavilion at Gary Pirkle Park in Sugar Hill. Students ages 12 and up are eligible for the program if they are homeschooled or attend a private Christian school without a football team.

We do not have formal tryouts but the boys earn their position and some will have more playing time than others.

This past season the varsity team was runner-up and had a 9-2 season. We lost 17 seniors due to graduation so there will be lots of opportunities. We hope to field a middle school team as well (boys ages 12-14 - as of May 1, 2011). Eleven year olds are allowed to play with parent and coach
approval.

We play in the Glory for Christ league which include other homeschool /Christian schools teams in the north Georgia area. Go to GeorgiaFootballLeague.com for more information on the league.

All practices and home games are at Gary Pirkle Park in Sugar Hill. Spring practice is the first two weeks in May (M, T, Th, F) and then a jamboree with other teams on Saturday, May 14th. Regular season practices will begin July 25th from 5:45-8pm M, T, Th and F until the season begins. Practice continues on M, T, TH with games on Friday until late October/mid-November depending upon playoffs.

Cost is $550 plus volunteer time - but we provide most of the equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, game day jerseys, practice pants and jersey, pads for pants). You need to provide sports girdle, two mouthpieces, ankle supports, black game day socks, black shorts and screw in cleats ($14.99 at area Ross/Marshall etc.). We practice at our brand new Astroturf field at Gary Pirkle Park in Sugar Hill. We have an excellent coaching staff and a great bunch of boys.
