Upper East Side Theatre Company, a youth theatre for ages 12-20, for the past 2 years and we just moved to the New Dawn Theatre for rehearsals and performances this coming season. Students ages 12-20 can join our Youth Theatre Company and receive professional training in the performing arts while experiencing what it's like to be a core member of an acting ensemble. Theatre Company members receive instruction in auditioning, acting technique, singing, choreography, design, marketing and leadership from professional Atlanta performers. We perform 2 shows each year and also attend competitions. Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4-7 pm.
We also offer a Jr. Performers class for students ages 7-12. Students will play drama games, learn acting, singing and dancing skills, and perform a full length Broadyway Jr. musical at the end of the year. This class meets on Tuesdays from 4-5:30 pm.
Tuition includes all cast related costs including costumes, show
T-shirts and scripts. We offer discounts for multiple siblings, new
student referrals, and fundraising options to defer tuition.
