Goldie B. Locks and the Three Bears updates the classic story of the girl who stops at the wrong house in the woods. In this new version, Goldie’s mom insists that Goldie needs to stop watching television and play outside. Goldie eventually concedes and finds out that the real world offers a great deal more adventure than her favorite TV show.
Rising Stars presents Goldie B. Locks and the Three Bears at New Dawn Theater in Duluth. This production allows young children to enjoy their first theater experience by including audience participation through games and music. There are no complete blackouts and the show lasts about 45 minutes. Goldie will run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings at 11:00 from March 11th-March 27th. Tickets are $5 and a group rate is available.
The show is being performed by a small group of homeschooled children, so your child will enjoy and maybe be inspired by seeing children their age on the stage. (My 13 year old daughter is playing Mama Bear, an adult is playing Papa bear, and all the other actors are younger children.)
