1960s class at Gwinnett History Museum

1960s class is scheduled January19, 2010 at the Gwinnett History Museum,

Students are asked to please bring a washed, 100% cotton t-shirt for the tie-dye activity. They will have a limited number of bandannas available for those who do not bring a t-shirt.

The Crazy 1960s is for students 11-up, and will cover the Civil Rights movement, space race, and other events of the 1960s as well as some fun, hands-on activities.

The Gwinnett History Museum is located in the Lawrenceville Female Seminary building at 455 S. Perry St., about two blocks from the Lawrenceville square. The phone number is 770.822.5178. Registration for our homeschool classes is $3 per student for Gwinnett County residents, $6 per student for non-residents. There is no charge for adults. You can register online at www.gwinnettparks.com, by mail, or by calling any Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation location. The class number is FSHM10171.
