Drivers Ed for Homeschoolers winter 2009

DRIVER'S ED WINTER SESSIONS FOR HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS

Two separate sessions of Driver's Ed will be offered on the following dates
at The King's Academy, 471 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, GA 30188:

* Mondays and Wednesdays, January 19-February 11
* Thursdays, January 22-March 19

All classes will be held from 12:00-4:00 pm in room 201 (upstairs in gym
building).

Trinity Driver Education will provide this service to homeschool students.

* Licensed by the State

* 30 hours of classroom instruction

* 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction

* Class Fee $350.00

Attendance at all classes are mandatory. The six hours of behind-the-wheel
instruction are included in the program fee but must be scheduled
individually with Trinity Driver Education instructors.

All contracts need to be signed and fees paid in advance. To sign up and
make these arrangements, please come to The King's Academy on Wednesday,
January 14 from 10am-12pm to meet instructor Jeannie Hanie. For further

PLEASE NOTE: Students should bring a writing utensil, snack and drink with
them each day. All other materials will be provided. Please dress
comfortably and modestly.

ALCOHOL DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAM

Students attending Driver's Ed should also plan to take the "Alcohol Drug
Awareness Program" class. ADAP is a state requirement for all teen drivers.
We offer it in conjunction with our Driver's Ed program but as a separate
class/fee. ADAP is taught by TKA's health teacher, Mrs. Joy Page.

ADAP must be taken as part of the Driver's Ed program at TKA, but it may
also be signed up and paid for separately if a student has taken Driver's Ed
at another location or online and needs this certification to obtain their
license.

ADAP (for both winter Driver's Ed sessions) will be taught on Thursday,
March 5th from 12:00-3:00pm in the same location as Driver's Ed class.
Registration and Payment is due by February 19.

ADAP registrations must be handled separately from Driver's Ed with $10
payment made payable to Joy Page and mailed by registration due date to 5019
