Aurora Academy, the educational wing of Aurora Theatre continues with winter
class offerings for youth and adults. Aurora Academy has been blessed with a
very successful summer camp and fall class session.
All of our class offerings end in a unique and exciting performance
opportunity. At Aurora Academy, we not only pride ourselves on giving
students a chance to study with working professionals, but we offer
performance opportunities that only a major regional arts organization like
Aurora Theatre can offer.

Teen Class
Acting in Musical Theatre (Ages 12-18)
If you are a fan of musical theatre, but you struggle with ways to make your
acting believable and fresh, then this class is for you. The focus will be
on scene work from popular musicals. You will also get tips from the pros
on the do's and don'ts of auditioning for musicals. Acting in Musical
Theatre will prepare you for the next musical. Class culminates in a
Showcase of work on the Aurora Theatre MainStage.
